Today, We want to share with you centos vs ubuntu. In this post we will show you Why is CentOS better?, hear for which linux os is best we will give you demo and example for implement. In this post, we will learn about What is crowd-sourced? with an example.
Is CentOS better than Ubuntu?
Just because it is crowd-sourced doesn’t make it better.
What is crowd-sourced?
CentOS is fundamentally a crowd-sourced Operating system.with lots of developers and all the high company contributing all the source code as well as others testing it. At least CentOS is non-commercial. Ubuntu is laced with Amazon ads, kind of like Google but without the option to opt out. That’s why a lot of Ubuntu users started using Mint instead.
It’s non-commercial, and it kept the traditional interface instead of rushing out to look like a tablet.
Why is CentOS better?
Depending on how much you like or don’t like change, CentOS has a slow release schedule. It is also slow to put out patches. Fortunately,it rarely needs them. CentOS is a good thing for a developer to put on his or her resume as a developer.
Some person report to be testers or developers, but in short meanings, everybody is. Therefor We could get a buggy release. This is a written by developers as well as some tested by developers, therefor some true bugs get out. This isn’t Windows. You have to pay for Windows. You don’t have to pay for either CentOS or Ubuntu. Ubuntu does pay its developers, therefor you get a higher level of development.
Or at least more commitment than the people who support CentOS as a hobby. I’d say closer to a cult. Devotion is good. But CentOS risks being a larger scale version of Slackware, a group project that goes away when the some person doing the bulk of the work disappear. We don’t get it. Slackware was created and is still maintained by one guy. If he dies, Slackware probably will, too. Therefor We will go with Ubuntu of the two because it is probably going to be around in ten years, and fixed in less than ten months if some bug comes up.
I hope you get an idea about centos vs ubuntu.
