What’s up Western?
I’m jdking and I’m jlu. And today we’re going to be checking out some of Western’s must-knows and best student hacks. Here we go! So what’s like your biggest life hack at Western? The gym is my favorite place to hang out and like go to and relax. Um, it’s included in tuition.
So I think it’s a great way to kinda like destress. Did you know that there’s actually a Twitter account that tells you how many people are at the gym every 30 minutes? The only one I know is like if you get groceries on Tuesdays at Lob laws, it will have a student discount. I definitely do all of my grocery shopping on Tuesdays.
That’s – that’s a must! Gotta get that 10% student discount – don’t forget your card guys! There’s an app, and you can download it :USC Eats, and you can order food and just go pick it up!
Do you have any like kind of hacks for the bar and stuff for when you go out at night?
Go early, if possible. uwo mail…know the bouncers! Flirt with the bouncers! Oh if you put on a birthday pin, and you go with some girls, all the other girls let you skip! They assume it’s your birthday, so just show up to any bar with a birthday pin, and you’ll get in. Get to know the owners of Frog.
That is definitely a good one. So, is that your go-to? You get the best hook-ups over there… Ohh, okay! Have you heard about going through Taboo to skip the line? Yeah, I don’t pay that kind of money. Have you ever used the Mustang Express or heard of it? I’ve heard – yeah, I’ve used it once uh… That one time I used it, it was very, VERY clutch. What are some kind of like bird courses you’ve taken so far? Anything you’ve learned you can kind of not show up to every class? Not do all of the readings? Uh, definitely Comp Sci 1033. I showed up to the first class…’bout it. Finished the course with an eighty-eight.
So, I took Comp Sci 1033 which is so far a bird course. But apparently people say that teachers know,so they’re trying to make it harder. Comp Sci 1046. 1046? That’s not 1033 and that’s not 2033, so tell me about it… Uhh, it’s really basic like web design. Yeah, I took Earth Sci 1022. And what did you end up in the course with? Ninety-two. Bird!
Do you know any good secret study spots that you hit up?
I like PANDA: Physics and Astronomy…good acronym too! Nice natural lighting in there. Big space. High ceilings. I think just for studying, a really good place is like the third or the second floor of um Nat Sci. Like downstairs! Definitely UC, so University College, third floor – literally no one shows up there.
Way better than Weldon!
Weldon’s a depressing prison. Have you ever been in any of the tunnels? In Med-Syd, yeah. I don’t know what other tunnels they’re talking about… uwo email alias, I think Weldon to SSC. Cool, and do you find it helpful? Yeah, I think it’s pretty helpful. The Nat Sci to Physics & Astronomy – I use that a lot too uwo owl.
Is there anything you know now that you didn’t know before you came to Western?
Being able to choose electives that you actually enjoy is pretty important. Study hard guys! Definitely take advantage of your TAs and your professors. They’re always there for you. Don’t be afraid. They’re not afraid to answer any questions that you have. I would say definitely never pull an all-nighter.
uwo student center I don’t think they’re as effective as people claim they are. Sleep’s always important! Looks like going to all of your classes is an optional thing uwo email server… But taking the Mustang Express home from the bar is definitely a must. So if you have any hacks, leave a comment for us below, and we’ll definitely steal your idea. If you like what you saw, be sure to checkout our other uwo email forwarding. And as always, make sure to like, share, and comments. Catch ya later Western!
