How to Set Up Auto-Login for Windows 8/8.1?

To set up auto-login for Windows 8/8.1:

1. Press Windows Key + R, type “netplwiz” and press Enter.
2. In the User Accounts dialog, select the account you want to automatically log in to and uncheck the box next to “Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer”.
3. Click OK and enter the password for the selected account when prompted.
4. Restart the computer and it should log in automatically.
