To send a heartbeat on an Apple Watch, you can follow these steps:
- Open the Heartbeat app: On your Apple Watch, tap the “Heartbeat” app to open it.
- Initiate a sharing session: Once the Heartbeat app is open, tap the “Share” button in the top-left corner of the screen.
- Choose a contact: From the list of contacts, choose the person you want to send a heartbeat to.
- Send your heartbeat: Tap the “Send” button to send your heartbeat. The recipient will receive a notification on their Apple Watch, iPhone, or iPad with your heartbeat animation.
- Wait for a response: The recipient can then send a heartbeat back to you. The animation will appear on your Apple Watch and you’ll feel a tap on your wrist to let you know they’ve responded.
Note: To use the Heartbeat app, both you and the recipient must have an Apple Watch running watchOS 3 or later and be signed in to the same iCloud account. Additionally, the recipient must have their wrist raised and the Heartbeat app open in order to receive and send heartbeats.
